BUENOS AIRES--State-owned Aerolineas Argentinas has signed a deal with Boeing Co. (BA) to purchase 20 jets with a list price of $1.8 billion, the Argentine flagship carrier said Monday.
The B-737/800 jets will be incorporated into the company's fleet in 2016-2018, Aerolineas Argentinas said in a statement.
The purchase is part of a plan to unify the company's fleet, Aerolineas Argentinas said. The carrier already has 24 B-737/700 jets and four B-737/800 planes.
