Broadcom Q4 Revenue, EPS Beat, Q1 View Light; Shares Slip

Shares of chip maker�Broadcom (BRCM) are down 59 cents, or almost 2%, at $33.12, in late trading after the company this afternoon reported Q4 results that topped analysts’ estimates but projected Q1 revenue a tad light of consensus.

Revenue in the three months ended in December rose 14%, year over year, and fell 2% from Q3′s level, to $2.08 billion, yielding EPS of 76 cents.

Analysts had been modeling $2.07 billion and 73 cents.

For the�current quarter, the company projects revenue to rise to $1.9 billion, plus or minus 4%, which is below the average $1.996 billion Street consensus.

Separately, the company said it was raising its quarterly�dividend by 10%, to 11 cents per share.
